Abena Wariebi

 Hello everybody! My name is Abena Wariebi, and I am so excited to be co-leading the Philly trip this year. I am a senior here at Maryland majoring in English literature with a minor in Spanish languages and cultures. This will actually be my third AB experience as I went on the Bland, VA trip as a sophomore, and the Philadelphia, PA trip as a junior. As you can tell I love Alternative Breaks! Furthermore, I am passionate about service. I also love to dance, eat, hang out with friends, or enjoy a combination of the three! I was born in Lagos, Nigeria and raised in Germantown, Maryland which I believe cultivated my appreciation of diversity.I am so excited to begin this experience with you all! :)
